Acne treatment with IPL
Acne is not just a problem of adolescence - many people struggle with it even in adulthood. If you're looking for a non-invasive but effective way to get rid of inflammatory deposits, redness and recurring breakouts, IPL therapy is a great option. The intense pulsed light works directly on acne-causing bacteria, reducing excessive sebum production while stimulating skin tissue regeneration.
This method is safe, almost painless and suitable even for sensitive skin. After just a few treatments, the skin is visibly soothed, the appearance of new pimples is reduced and the overall texture and tone of the skin gradually improves. In addition, it also helps with mild redness or post-inflammatory scars.

What can be addressed with IPL treatment?
The laser reduces the function of the overactive sebaceous glands to a depth of 5 mm below the surface of the skin. For acne, it also has an antibacterial effect.
Suitable for:
- Redness caused by acne
- Acne scars (up to a certain extent)
- Excessive sebum production
Areas that can be addressed with IPL
The procedure does not normally require anaesthesia; if it does, local anaesthesia is used only with a special cream.

What is the treatment of acne with IPL?
In the acne clinic, the type of acne is first determined and a treatment plan is set. Once the IPL treatment is chosen, the skin is thoroughly cleaned and a layer of conductive gel is applied. The client receives protective eyewear. During the actual treatment, a slight pinching sensation is felt. Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be red, which will soon subside.
To relieve skin irritation after IPL, we use a special healing yellow light on your skin free of charge to help soothe the skin faster. The treatment on the whole face takes around 30 minutes. However, it is also possible to treat the décolleté or, for example, the back or shoulders.
There are a total of 4 to 6 treatments over 7 to 14 days.
